Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of this Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service or 100 USD if You haven’t purchased anything through the Service. For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and Waiver

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect a party’s ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Translation Interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service. You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Plumbing Work: Terms of Service

These terms cover plumbing work arranged through Raptor Plumbing and Drain and sit alongside the general Terms and Conditions posted on this website. Scheduling a job means you accept both. They are written to set clear expectations before a plumber ever reaches your door.

Scheduling and Arrival

Raptor Plumbing and Drain makes reasonable efforts to arrive within the window agreed at booking. Availability, weather, road conditions, and the length of earlier jobs can move that window, and we let you know as soon as we can when the timing shifts. After-hours and emergency requests are taken where possible, though a specific arrival time cannot be promised.

Getting the Work Area Ready

Before the visit, please make sure the fixtures, water heater, shutoff valves, under-sink cabinets, and any other work areas can be reached, indoors and out. Unlock gates, garages, basements, attics, and crawl spaces along the route to the pipes and the main line, secure any pets, and clear stored items from the immediate work area. The water supply to part or all of the property may be shut off while work is underway, so plan around that. Spaces that are blocked, cluttered, or locked can add time and may add cost, as noted further down.

Codes, Permits, and Safe Work

Plumbing performed through Raptor Plumbing and Drain is carried out by licensed plumbers and follows the local, state, and federal codes that apply to the job. Where a permit or inspection is required, it is handled per the local jurisdiction, and those fees may be passed on to you. Please tell us up front about known trouble spots, such as galvanized or polybutylene piping, prior unpermitted work, or a recurring leak, so the right precautions are taken. Raptor Plumbing and Drain is not responsible for pre-existing code violations or for hidden conditions inside walls, slabs, or pipes that could not reasonably be found before work began.

What a Standard Job Includes

A standard visit covers diagnosis and the agreed plumbing work, which may include drain cleaning, leak detection and repair, water heater repair and replacement, toilet, faucet, and fixture installation, sewer and main line service, repiping, and emergency repairs, so long as the targeted areas can be reached during the visit. When the work is done, you receive a service ticket noting the date, the work performed, and any follow-up the plumber recommends.

Work We Do Not Handle

Some jobs sit outside a plumbing call. Raptor Plumbing and Drain does not pump or inspect septic tanks or service drain or leach fields, and it does not install or repair heating and cooling equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, or thermostats. Appliance repair, drywall and finish carpentry, and major structural work are also outside scope. Where related plumbing work is needed alongside any of these, it is quoted on its own.

Access, Disturbance, and Buried Features

Reaching pipes can mean working in walls, ceilings, floors, attics, crawl spaces, basements, and garages. Raptor Plumbing and Drain takes reasonable care to limit disturbance, but you acknowledge that opening surfaces to run or repair pipe, and minor movement of stored items, can be a normal part of the job. Raptor Plumbing and Drain is not responsible for incidental impact to lawns, landscaping, sprinkler lines, invisible fencing, or other buried or unmarked features. If you know where such features run, please mark them before the service date.

Standing Behind the Work

Raptor Plumbing and Drain backs the workmanship on completed jobs and will make reasonable efforts to address a problem tied to the work performed within a reasonable time. Because results also depend on the age and condition of existing pipes, the water heater, and other components outside the scope of the repair, following the plumber's recommendations matters to how long a fix holds.

Charges Beyond the Quote

A few situations add to the quoted price. The most common are:

• Extensive repairs, repiping, or upgrades that need extra materials or labor
• Hard-to-reach work in attics, crawl spaces, slabs, or finished walls and ceilings
• Permit and inspection fees set by the local jurisdiction
• Trip charges for sites that are inaccessible, unsafe, or otherwise not serviceable
• Short-notice rescheduling
• Emergency or after-hours requests
• Specialty equipment or work beyond a standard service call

Wherever practical, added charges are explained before the extra work is done and billed on the terms Raptor Plumbing and Drain provides.

Payment

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due when the work is finished, using the methods given at booking. If you question a charge, raise it with Raptor Plumbing and Drain within a reasonable time so it can be checked against the service ticket and the plumber's notes.

Independent Contractors and Fulfillment

When demand, scheduling, or availability calls for it, Raptor Plumbing and Drain may arrange for an independent third-party plumbing contractor to carry out the work. That contractor is independent and is not an employee or agent of Raptor Plumbing and Drain, and you are responsible for confirming the provider holds the licenses, insurance, and permits the job requires in your area. By booking, you agree Raptor Plumbing and Drain may coordinate fulfillment this way, and that not following these terms can lead to service being declined, rescheduled, or charged differently.

This site is a free service to assist homeowners in connecting with local service contractors. All contractors are independent and this site does not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. All persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on this site.
